Divine Mercy lesson

Due April 16 - Divine Mercy 101 with Fr. Chris Alar, MIC
  1. Login to FORMED, and go to Divine Mercy 101 with Fr. Chris Alar, MIC.   
  2. There is NO Study Guide - you might consider journaling your thoughts as you watch. 
  3. Then take some quiet time and try praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Here are the steps, which you can use with a rosary if you have one available. You might also find watching this short meditation helpful.

Hey all! Lent is great time to head to confession. Father has scheduled individual confession on Tuesday, March 23 from 7:30 to 9:00PM at Saint Wendel Church. Or you can make an appointment for another time by calling or texting Father Ed at 812-499-9700. Also, here's a handout of times at other parishes on the westside (be sure to call to confirm). I encourage you to take advantage of God's awesome mercy!

  1. Watch "Do Catholics Worship Saints?" from Fr. Mike Schmitz (6 min).
  2. Login to FORMED, and choose a movie about a saint who interests you from the Modern Day Saints collection or Saints of History collection. If you are a Confirmation student, you might choose a saint you are considering for your patron saint. 
  3. ​After watching the film, submit the following on Class Dojo: the title of the film, the particular saint featured, and in what ways did you see God working through that person.
